Here is my before pic. I probably would never post something like this, but here goes. I'm thinking at the beginning of every month I'll post another picture. Jeez. What am I doing?
Pardon my messy room. Hot damn.

The easiest workout is the funnest
Yesterday I babysat four kids. One was a baby, but the other three are very active. Although the weather was awful, I allowed--for a little bit, some wrestling and jumping around etc. That was definitely a workout, but it didn't really FEEL like one. The kids had a blast too so it was a win-win.
Also--just to keep updated, I have started using myfitnesspal.com to help me keep track of everything. While I keep reading about everyone else's struggles, I think my biggest struggle is that I am drinking so much water and I have to pee every ten minutes, which also means I have to wash my hands every ten minutes which means my hands are super cracked and there is almost no way to heel them I feel like.
So far today (also crappy, terrible weather) I have done a few kettle ball exercises that I found online and really enjoy. It gets my heart rate going and my arms burning. It's wonderful. I've been eating healthy and trying to get at least 10-15 minutes of exercise in when I can't go to the gym. WHICH IS A MAJOR STRUGGLE.

Days 1&2 of biggest loser
Day 1-Friday-I was weighed around 7:30 am at 231lb. The most I have ever been in my life (only by three pounds though). But, thankfully, I was working with kids that day. Which meant, I did a lot of jump rope and a lot of jumping and running around. It was nice that I could do activities and still have fun. I had a salad for lunch with honey mustard and turkey and ham and bacon. It was pretty good. Next time I'll just get turkey though. After working I had to go work at Subway-which means standing on my feet for a very, very long period of time.
Yesterday (day2), after staying up late because of work, I woke up around 8:45 (still got my 8 hours of sleep). I went downstairs and my dad had already made breakfast. Of course, it was biscuits and gravy--one of my favorites. So, I took only one biscuit and a little scoop of gravy. Then I cut up some strawberries to help me fill up a little more and to add fruit. It's okay to have what you still like--just smaller portions, right? So anyways, I went upstairs and got into workout clothes and did about 10-15 minutes of a kettle ball workout. Man, that worked my arms. But it was okay, because I felt great afterwards. I went out to lunch with a friend and my sister. I got a chef salad there with fried avocado and salsa. It was pretty good. I liked the avocado the best, and I wasn't to try actual avocado, but sometimes it's hard to tell what good avocado is. Anyways, I went home and relaxed before heading of to work at Subway for 8.5 hours. It's hard because there were freshly baked cookies. But, it's okay. I only had one and I plan on having none today. We'll see how that goes.
Have a great day and happy new year. It's going to be a good one, I'm sure!

Biggest Loser
Tomorrow starts a competition that is happening at my place of work. Tomorrow starts our version of The Biggest Loser. In my last post, I was 215. Now I am up to 230. I am determined to be under 200 pounds by the end of the year, but to be a solid 210lb by the end of the the three month competition. I know that it sounds like this is a resolution, and perhaps it is. But it is more than my weight. I want to run with the kids I work with and not get tired after two minutes of basketball. I don't want my knees and hips to hurt either. I want to be fit. I want to be able to run a 5K by May. I'm hoping by participating in this competition, (where I could also win some mula) that I become happier with who I am. Even if I only weigh 220lb by the end of it. Hopefully, I'll be good and actually keep up with this blog. I'll let you know what my official weigh in will be tomorrow.
Have a great night.

Day 1
I feel the need to write about my attempt at getting healthier. I am a 5'8" female that weighs 215 pounds. Even though no one will probably read this, I feel like this could be like my accountability partner. I will post my downfalls and my rewarding moments as well. Who knows there this will go, but I want to try something new to help me.
So far in my attempt to lose weight I have made a list of stuff I shouldn't eat and how many days in a row I have done that. Things on the list include: soda, ice cream, candy, cookies, fastfood and chips. So far my longest streak is two days without ice cream. I did start that three days ago, so I guess that isn't that bad, but I am hoping I can get all of them to about 15 days at least.
I also need to start doing regular workouts, but the gym I love is far away and I don't have a lot of gas right now. Thankfully, there is a guy that works there that is pretty attractive--so that's always motivation for me.
That's it for now.
